About ARRIB
ARRIB is a free learning platform for beginners in Modern Standard Arabic. It is owned by Amal El Ghamdi, an Arabic teacher, and supported by a team based in Saudi Arabia. You can contact the ARRIB Team using the Contact page.
Learning and available content
Lessons follow a sequential path. All exercise activities in a lesson must be completed correctly before the lesson is completed. You may retry activities and review completed lessons. The available lessons form part of Level 1; more lessons are being prepared. ARRIB does not promise a qualification or a particular language-learning result.
Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details private. Email and password accounts must verify their email address before learning. Google sign-in is also available. Do not share accounts, impersonate another person, or try to access another learner’s data.
Who can use ARRIB
ARRIB is a general-audience learning service and is not designed specifically for children. Users under 13 must use the service with parent or guardian consent. A parent or guardian should supervise a child’s use and contact the ARRIB Team with questions.
Responsible use
Use ARRIB for learning and respectful feedback. Do not upload harmful content, interfere with the service, automate abusive requests, bypass access controls, or copy and redistribute teaching content or media without permission from the relevant rights holder.
Progress and support
Progress is based on available published lessons, completions and any recorded exemptions. Course percentages are not a diagnosis of Arabic proficiency. An administrator may correct progress or restrict an account for support or security reasons. Recorded study activity and earned badges remain historical records when a completion is corrected. Contact covers account help, technical issues and lesson feedback; no response deadline or private tutoring is promised.
Deleting your account
You can permanently delete your account from Settings after a recent sign-in and explicit confirmation. This removes your account, sessions, progress, placement attempt, study activity and badges. Deletion cannot be undone. ARRIB does not maintain a custom backup system to restore deleted learner accounts. Email correspondence already delivered to support or handled by email providers is separate from your learning account.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep ARRIB useful and reliable, but access may be interrupted and content may change. We may update these terms; the published page shows the date of its latest publication. Nothing in these terms limits rights that applicable law gives you.
Contact
Use the Contact page for questions about these terms or the service. The ARRIB Team will review your message.
